Nowadays definition of hearing impairment is not based on hearing thresholds. In general, in the broad range of rehabilitation and education of hearing loss people, the auditory-verbal approach (AVT) has the highest emphasis and the language of the signage has the least emphasis on hearing. Other methods fall into the midst of this range according to their defined principles.

Nowadays, based on auditory-verbal exercises, much more facilities and properties are provided for hearing impaired children. This group of hearing impaired children and their parents are moving from the silent world to the colorful sounds world.
